Sliding mode control of interval type-2 T-S fuzzy systems with redundant channels

This paper investigates the sliding mode control (SMC) of interval type-2 (IT2) T-S fuzzy systems. The measurement outputs are propagated via redundant channels for reducing probability packet loss and improving reliability data transmission. A key feature above problem is that premise variables signals may not be available by controller, which brings difficulty to stabilize nonlinear Accordingly, a crucial issue how synthesize an implementable SMC law under channels. To this end, characteristic firstly analyzed model output established. By employing these measurements as utilizing upper lower bounds system membership functions (MFs), new MFs constructed controller synthesized. introducing some null terms carrying information MFs, sufficient conditions derived in matrix inequalities ensure stochastically ultimate boundedness closed-loop reachability specified surface. Besides, binary genetic algorithm (GA) introduced solve criteria objective function reflecting performance. Finally, numerical example illustrates effectiveness proposed methods.
